[edit]I created this page as, there was a posting for Imette St. Guillen, however, there was no posting whatsoever for Ramona Moore, who also suffered a similar fate.
I became involved in the case of Imette St. Guillen last year by being one of the people protesting The Falls bar and working to have that establishment closed, which it has been. I did this because Imette was attending John Jay College, which is in my old neighborhood, and she also lived near a church I was attending. I have also made edits to Imette's wikipedia listing anonymously, adding pertinent information to that listing, but today I have created a Wikipedia account with the intention of also honoring Ramona Moore, with whom I also have ties to as, I also was a Hunter College student as she was. Both women's lives were ended in a horrible fashion and no one should die this way.
notability
[edit]EL #1 to the NY Times article ostensibly establishes notability of Moore as an example of missing white woman syndrome's effects on African American victims. The murder trial antics are also notable, but I think it's fair to say that part belongs in this article and not a separate article for the 2 murderers. Wl219 10:48, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Interesting! Unfortunately, I had to give it a 'quick-read' as I was working on other pages. FYI, I'm currently working on a page for Boitumelo (Tumi) McCallum, a girl who was murdered in New York City recently. Doing the cite refs for the page are tedious.--MurderWatcher1 16:23, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
