Photo of the man, but more importantly, photos of his work. --Quuxplusone 04:43, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

why does it mention that Johnny Depp played Hunter s thompson.. I know this is true, but I dont see what that has to do with a bio of Ralph Steadman..

--Given that it already mentions that Steadman has 'surprisingly' provided illustrations for Depp's song anthology, it makes sense to point out Depp's strong association with Thompson. Thompson is quite arguably Steadman's most notable associate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.165.58.68 (talk) 00:02, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

Some illustrations would be nice. Yes it would

I think copyright is a problem =/

Is there no non-copyrighted works, he has done plenty of promo work for people etc.

Gerald Scarfe

Why no mention of Scarfe on this page? Their work is easily confused - same style, subject matter, humor - and they studied together. I can hardly find anything at all mentioning the two of them together.

Fair use rationale for Image:Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (DVD cover).jpg

[edit]

Image:Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (DVD cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:40, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The image Image:Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The following images also have this problem:

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Ralph Steadman. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

  • Attempted to fix sourcing for //tiff.net/filmsandschedules/festival/2013/fornogoodreason

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

This message was posted before February 2018. After February 2018, "External links modified" talk page sections are no longer generated or monitored by InternetArchiveBot. No special action is required regarding these talk page notices, other than regular verification using the archive tool instructions below. Editors have permission to delete these "External links modified" talk page sections if they want to de-clutter talk pages, but see the RfC before doing mass systematic removals. I pulled this section together but forgot to sign in - first time I've made that mistake - sorry - don't know how to fix it except to say so here.Ramseyman (talk) 00:53, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have access to the I Like It songbook, which could possibly give a hint as to who "Mc Dean" might be.Ramseyman (talk) 01:04, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
