Wartime years
[edit]Blackburn Botha aircraft (manufactured in Dumbarton) was used for training purposes at West Freugh. An unreliable aircraft, it was involved in several fatal accidents, possibly due to sand entering the engines (it could not fly on one engine). --Mais oui! (talk) 06:48, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
