713?
[edit]Where is this area code? The link goes to a page not dealing with area codes — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jtmendes (talk • contribs)

713 is the area code for the Houston, Texas area. Don't know if you still need it or not but there it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.245.81.3 (talk)
Funeral Pyre Availability
[edit]This seems to be a good alternative to body-burial & cremation. Perhaps references to places where this can be done, can be added to the article. (EnochBethany (talk) 16:31, 29 September 2012 (UTC))
Review
[edit]Check grammar, punctuation, and sentence format. Some commas that were not necessary were noticed (i.e. “The reality was, that cremation via funeral pyre was a skilled task that takes many hours to be done properly”). Either remove the comma or change the format of this sentence because it is slightly awkward. Overall well done though! Try to add more primary sources to describe the Historical facts about Pyre. Need more detailed description for each country’s Pyre. Most of the titles of contents include pyre, however, suddenly a word “cremation” comes out. It would be better if it is changed to something like “Roman Pyre”. It feels like it is off the topic. Because the page is about Pyre, it should be more focused on talking about pyre.Suelee3 (talk) 01:44, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
General Relativity?
[edit]the "warping" link in the forensics section leads to the page for general relativity. i can't see how that's relevant. maybe Wood warping would be a little more relevant? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.33.195.140 (talk) 09:51, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Done. I've unlinked it because that article is specifically about wood, and I feel the term is common enough to be understood. However, you could link it if you think otherwise. It's also possible to link to wiktionary. Opencooper (talk) 12:00, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
Greek Antique depiction
[edit]The article would probably benefit from a picture of this amphora depicting Croesus on a pyre: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croesus#/media/File:Kroisos_stake_Louvre_G197.jpg Maybe someone can find a better angle. Atanar (talk) 18:30, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
