Some have called it Tenan, which in Nahuatl, means "mother or protective stone."
[edit]That is weird... "mother or protective stone" sounds english to me. Are you sure that it is Nahuatl? Because the sentence is saying "...which in Nahuatl, means...", but it should be "...which is Nahuatl for..." or am i wrong? English is not my first language, but i am pretty sure that this is a little bit wrong ^^ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.130.248.239 (talk) 11:26, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Burials
[edit]Adding to this, there were nonhuman sacrifices as well such as pumas, eagles, falcons, crows, owls, rattlesnakes, and mollusks.
Whilst aware that criticising native religions and rituals will be considered racialist by the woke... How the hell does one sacrifice a mollusc ? Claverhouse (talk) 09:34, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
