I added more information to this page, I made reference to other related articles, and I added references, I hope to retrieve more information about the company in the near future, but I already saw stubs with less information, and arguable relevance than this one, and they are kept as a stub, waiting development. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Miguelfms (talkcontribs)

I've bought you some more time by changing the speedy deletion notice to a prod, meaning you get five days to improve the article instead of a few hours. I'm not sure the company has been demonstrated to be notable yet. One thing it lacks is more third party mentions of the company. Is it featured in a magazine, has non-trivial news coverage, or something similar? You can read more about the inclusion criteria at WP:CORP. henriktalk 07:22, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made some more research, and I found references from independent sources(the most notable, the timesonline), refering to the largest supplier of Ayurvedic herbs in the U.K. and also references for their products, in complementary medicine.

The main point for me that makes this article valid is that I bought one of their products, and I went on-line to know more about the company, and the first place that I went (I always have one wikipedia page opened in my browser) was precisely the wikipedia, because I didn't find nothing about it, I resolved myself to create it. I found myself impartial on it, but if I searched about it, anybody can search now, and maybe they can help retrieving more information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Miguelfms (talkcontribs) 11:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Pukka.gif

[edit]

Image:Pukka.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Citations

[edit]

I tried to look for more citations but they were mostly in PR publications (i.e. not neutral for wiki). Because all the major claims are cited to the Times' articles, and the article is a stub, "a very short article or a rough collection of information that will need much work to become a meaningful article", it seems punitive to call for improved citations when the sourcing is better than 99% of stubs, so I think the maintenance tag needs to be removed unless there's a reasonable concern. I'll try to find some more sources to expand the article with in the mean time. Thanks!

According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (companies), shouldn't the title of this page be just "Pukka Herbs"?

You're right. I moved it. :) OohBunnies! Leave a message 10:09, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
