I rarely move a page - but in this case the change made in August was absolutely and totally wrong. The children of the king of Italy (with the exception of the eldest son) never use the style "prince of Italy"; they always use the style "prince of Savoy". Anybody with even the slightest knowledge of the Italian monarchy knows this. There are a small number of English-language works which mistakenly apply the title "prince of Italy" to members of this family - in spite of the fact that the family never claimed such a title - but these works are a tiny minority. May I ask people not to make significant changes in articles about which they know comparatively little? Noel S McFerran 21:51, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Engagement

[edit]

It would appear that Mafalda was engaged to Prince Leopold of Belgium, before she was married to Philip. Perhaps this should be mentioned. She also almost died from drinking contaminated water in 1924.Eregli bob (talk) 03:31, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Need for more verifications?

[edit]

Is there really a need for the "introduction box" about " needs additional citations for verification."? --IP7869 (talk) 13:57, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Death date

[edit]

Hi!

It says on Mafalda’s English Wikipedia page that she died on the 26-27th of August: "She died during the night of 26–27 August 1944;[6]". However, her English Wikipedia infobox says she died on 28 August. Which one is correct? Dialuanny0 (talk) 18:51, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
