– We don't need so many articles with Chinese disambiguators. Yinweiaiqing (talk) 18:02, 13 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Waqar💬 08:27, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Would it be better to disambiguate by year instead, as was done at Talk:Prince Rui (created 1636)? I get the impression that both specialists and non-specialists often dislike using tone marks to disambiguate. Specialists usually seem to prefer to use Chinese characters to disambiguate, whereas nonspecialists sometimes find that the tone mark is not enough of a difference to be clear. —Mx. - Support disambiguation by year. Though we may still meet WP:SMALLDETAILS, our readers are by majority English speakers and are less likely to notice different tone marks, especially a line versus a curve (speaking from the perspective of somebody who doesn't read pinyin often) ASUKITE 16:16, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
