The result of the move request was: Moved Prince Yi (created 1797) and Prince Yi (created 1722) per discussion at Talk:Prince_Rui_(created_1636)#Requested_move_24_July_2024. Mx. Granger - you've used the date 1779 in your comment, but our article says 1797. I don't have access to the original source, is this a mistake on your part or should the date really be 1779? - Prince Yi (儀) → ?
- Prince Yi (怡) → ?
– Having a non-English disambiguation isn't helpful on en.Wikipedia where most of the readers except to read text in English. I have no idea what the correct disambiguation is here, but I'm hopeful someone here would. Gonnym (talk) 19:29, 24 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Waqar💬 16:51, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- Same as my suggestion here, Prince Yi (1746) and Prince Yi (1686). estar8806 (talk) ★ 01:12, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- I think it would be clearer to use both start and end dates: Prince Yi (1779–?) and Prince Yi (1722–1945). —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 14:15, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- I think it'd be clearer still for the DAB to identify the article topics as being noble titles specifically: maybe Prince Yi (title created 1779) and Prince Yi (title created 1722). The existing article titles led me to assume that "Prince Yi" was a specific person's name. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 18:45, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable. Note to closer: please consider this discussion together with the one at Talk:Prince Rui (睿) as they're closely related. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 13:27, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

- What's the translit of the dab charterers?—blindlynx 17:30, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Blindlynx: The standard (hanyu pinyin) transliteration is Yí for both. (They're pronounced the same way in standard Mandarin, though not in all varieties of Chinese.) —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 17:46, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, obviously the characters are different but is there any nuance that isn't in the standard tranlit or some translation of the characters that could be used as a dab? (sames goes for the Rui RM)—blindlynx 13:55, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
