Overemphasis on Racial Segregation
[edit]While the maintenance of racial segregation was certainly a principal objective of Florida's pork choppers, another emphasis was resistance to reapportionment of the Florida Legislature in a manner to reflect population and a desire to limit the powers of urban counties and municipalities within the state. The article makes the ludicrous observation that segregation was practiced at a particular pork chopper's company. Yes. In the 1950's, there and everywhere else in the State of Florida.John Paul Parks (talk) 14:44, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
