Northwest Caucasian

[edit]

It is not Northwest Caucasian which is called Pontic. Pontic is a phylogenetic proposal linking Northwest Caucasian with Indo-European. Pontic is thus a hypothetical language phylum. And Proto-Pontic is the hypothetical common ancestor of Proto-Indo-European and Proto-Northwest Caucasian. I'm going to change the disambiguation page accordingly.--Pet'usek [petrdothrubisatgmaildotcom] 06:21, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
