Childish comment

sometimes polly plummer doesn't do as she's told (because of uncle andrew asked her to recieve a ring and digory tells her not to so in this case she doesn't listen to others) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.27.120.143 (talk • contribs)

World view of an adult

Polly doesn't have the naїvté normally associated with an eleven year old child. For example, when Digory feels sorry for the witch, and wants to help her, before the two return to London, Polly complains : "ten to one she's only shamming. Do come on." Well, not all children are the same. Some are more mature than others, perhaps more cynical.

Polly's age
