ε1
[edit]What does "ε1% of 915" mean ? ε1 could be real part of dielectric constant as in [1]. 915 seems very high. Rod57 (talk) 04:02, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
minor problems
[edit]Sources - add , before absorb. References - delete extra space in identification in ref. 6. There are 2 different ref. 7s (the 2nd after the list of related topics)! 69.72.92.43 (talk) 02:09, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- I reformatted that citation & put it into a new section, Phytoene § Further Reading. Peaceray (talk) 15:29, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
cis-phytoene in infobox
[edit]This article is about phytoene, but the infobox is about 15-cis-phytoene. Since the compound referred to by simply "phytoene" is the all-trans version, which is the biosynthetic intermediate of interest, the infobox should be about the all-trans compound. Unless I'm missing something? Mdewman6 (talk) 20:18, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
Reading more, I guess the 15-cis is the main biosynthetic intermediate in many cases. This should be indicated on the page, and in the infobox if we're going to maintain it as the 15-cis isomer. Mdewman6 (talk) 01:35, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
