Senior career
[edit]Does playing for a college/university team count towards a player's senior career? If you look at Philip's brother, Christopher, his university career is under youth, and it makes more sense that way. Banana Fingers (talk) 11:32, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- Convention at the WP:FOOTY project is that once a player has appeared in adult club football, that's the start of his senior career. Phil had already played men's club football for Burgess Hill, as well as competitive senior international football, before starting his college career. Chris hadn't played men's club football, so it doesn't look odd to have his college career listed as youth; though it doesn't make sense to me that a grown man
who'd captainedregularly selected for his country should still be categorised as playing youth football. Matter of opinion, though. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:07, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
