This article has been checked against the following criteria for B-class status:
The title itself is highly dubious, given that 'Petty warfare' is a merely literal translation of the French and German terms quoted, i.e. petite guerre and kleiner krieg and is not found in English usage, which usually employed the French term when it was current before graduating to 'partisan warfare' and later, somewhat tautologically, 'guerilla warfare,' from the Spanish for la petite guerre. The katter appears to have been adopted by Anglophones under the misprision that guerilla described an irregular or partisan soldier, rather than the warfare in which guerilleros were engaged.
The article really need to be rebuilt from the ground up and the subject approached from a different starting point.
