Petrovsky District, Donetsk → Petrovskyi District – For the WP:CRITERION of consistency with all other article titles on urban districts of Ukraine, and to satisfy consensus conventions in WP:UAPLACE on naming of urban raions and WP:UKR by using consistent romanization for Ukrainian names. The consistent spelling eliminates the need for disambiguation (see Petrovsky District (disambiguation)). —Michael Z. 14:05, 7 August 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. signed, 511KeV (talk) 16:11, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. The district is indeed part of Ukraine and is internationally recognized as part of Ukraine, thus its name should be transliterated into English using Ukrainian transliteration form, rather than Russian transliteration form. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:12, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
Oppose for now, seeing as it's a disputed territory and de facto ruled by Russia. Not sure what protocol is here, seeing the complicated situation.--Ortizesp (talk) 18:32, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- What’s that got to do with it? The Russians aren’t trying to change its name. —Michael Z. 01:26, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Support, Donetsk is Ukraine, and for obscure localities we are using WP:UKR. In a hypothetical (and, as far as I am concerned, extremely unlikely case) it is recognized as part of Russia, this can always be reconsidered.--Ymblanter (talk) 07:19, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
