Titles won
[edit]Shouldn't the 1964-65 League Cup be in the trophy room, as he appeared in the quarter finals against Workington and scored twice in a 2-0 win ? I think it should. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.133.0.122 (talk) 12:02, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Broken Leg
[edit]The text says his leg was broken in a tackle by Blackpool's Emleyn Hughes. What actually happened was Osgood made a clumsy retaliatory challenge against Hughes and broke his own leg in the process. He also compliciated the fracture by playing golf and other physical activities, requiring it to be reset and recast 86.172.112.161 (talk) 15:47, 18 March 2018 (UTC) The article also says that this happened on the 6th October 1966 but I have just watched a youtube video of the Manchester City game on 10th October where Osgood scores for Chelsea in a 4-1 win. [1]
OK so none of this is right. Looking up the stats and seeing the program images, the game against Manchester City was on the 1st October. The game where he broke his leg was on 5th October, a Wednesday, League cups games weren't played on a Thursday.

- A citation to a reliable source would be helpful. 86.167.226.130 (talk) 18:30, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
I read the story in Osgood's autobiography in about 1972.
