To User:Rebrane: Why the revert? According to the N.Y. Times article Mr. Feaver is revealed as the author of the President's speech: "The role of Feaver in preparing the strategy document came to light through a quirk of technology...the plan posted on the White House Web site showed the document's originator, or 'author' in the software's designation, to be 'feaver-p.'" Ergo he's a presidental speech writer, no? Compare that to the last time he did any professorial work and I wonder why you are insisting on highlighting his relationship with Duke. The strategy document was not the speech, and neither the article nor Feaver's position in the NSC gives the indication that Feaver prepared the speech. The fact that he was involved in preparing the strategy document, of course, is a verifiable and valid fact. As for the Duke emphasis, that was in the article before I got to it, but if you look at Feaver's Duke faculty page it does list him as a chaired faculty member on leave until August 2006. I think it's correct to describe him as a Duke professor first and a Presidential advisor second. Eliot 13:25, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
