I removed the proposed deletion because:
First, the article introducing the name for this theory is relatively new, yes. However, the theory is not new at all in information science. Topics as well as issues of Performance Management Work exist in many information science courses at universities. Second, I believe the article is not unnotable. Why would I have taken the trouble to write this article in the first place? My article contains and discusses several subtopics such as performance during system development or during IT operations, but also DevOps concepts. It shows performance management in different areas and illustrates relations between organizations and IT resources. Therefore, the concept behind Performance Management Work comprises several topics that are relevant and not covered in Wikipedia yet. Furthermore, users are likely to find my article by searching for topics that do not exist in Wikipedia, but are shortly described and put into context in my article. Thus, I think my article is relevant. If one looks at the Wikipedia article ‘IT performance management’, the text does not provide any reliable sources and lists only subtopics. A suggestion would be to merge both articles (IT performance management and my article) under Performance Management Work, since it is the superstructure, and to integrate topics from IT performance management that are not covered by my article yet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jokross (talk • contribs) 17:47, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
