Talk:Pellegrina
Appearance
This page needs disambiguation, as it redirects all to "sauvignon blanc" incorrectly. Pellegrina is also a cape-like garment worn over a cassock. Disambiguation should direct pellegrina(garment) to mozzetta. Bob Colby (talk) 14:11, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- It previously redirected to Sauvignon blanc because that is an alternative name for the grape used in some parts of Northeast Italy which is a very valid, and correct, use for a redirect. It is completely appropriate for a new article to be written on the garment and for that article to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the name. However, the original valid reason for the redirect still stands and there should be at least a DAB link to Sauvignon blanc. AgneCheese/Wine 16:06, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- I think we agree fully. With all due respect for that grape, I think the article bearing the title "pellegrina" should be about the better-known use of the word, and that you agree with this being the primary topic for the name. Will you or shall I add the disambiguation page?
- With regard to Bob Colby's comment, I must add that the pellegrina is not the same as the mozzetta. Esoglou (talk) 16:19, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, I see you have already done it. Thanks. Esoglou (talk) 16:21, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Of course pellegrina is different than mozetta, but at the time I wrote the original entry, there was no page in English for pellegrina(garment). The only references to pellegrina(garment) at that time were a few lines on the cassock and mozetta pages. Thanks for straightening out the redirection. The current way is best I believe (primary page is the garment with a pointer to the wine grape). Thanks also to whoever added/translated the pellegrina page in English.
