So I lied and it wasn't January 26, but I got more of it done.

"his father Andrey worked at a steel factory and now coaches youth soccer" Would it fit the rest of the sentence more by saying he is a youth soccer coach and former steel factory worker? Done

How did Buchnevich do with SKA Saint Petersburg? Done

His final season in Russia was 2015, right?

He spent quite a few years on Severstal's reserve/youth team, that part of his career should be mentioned. Done
"However, Buchnevich missed significant time during his rookie season with back spasms, including a stretch of nearly two months from November 2016 to January 2017." Doesn't seem to be supported by the reference, which only states he was being assigned to Hartford. Done
