I think this needs some clarity or disambiguation. Parliamentary debate is first and foremost what goes on in Parliament (the legislature of the UK, and doubtless many other countries also use the term). Yes it is also a competitive academic activity undertaken in schools and colleges, but that should not be the first thing someone reads when looking it up.

I dont know about a disambiguation, but I think the point of the article is to document the form of debate in college and high school, not debate in parliament. For that, perhaps you would look at the broader article regarding parliament, and this should remain.

The US British Parliamentary nationals are not held at the University of Vermont, they rotate between the East and West Coast. UVM hosted nationals in two non-consecutive years, however (2009 and 2011). The UVM webpage even cited this fact, if you read the announcement more carefully. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.252.242.172 (talk) 22:50, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are sixteen entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
  • ELpoints #3) states: Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
  • LINKFARM states: There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
  • WP:ELMIN: Minimize the number of links.
