Can I interest you?
[edit]I know nothing about snails but from all your snail-related DYKs, you clearly do! Can I interest you in making an article on Papillifera papillaris? It's been in the UK news recently because a 100+ year old colony have been found at Cliveden, thought to have come to the UK from Italy hitching a lift on some imported architectural stonework. Links here: [1] and here: [2], plus it's been in loads of the UK papers. I thought it was an interesting story but know nothing about molluscs! Stronach (talk) 11:08, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your note. I will try to make it. I will make at least a stub. I will let you know. Meantime you can see at List of non-marine molluscs of Great Britain. --Snek01 (talk) 12:25, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Snek, I just now started a stub for Papillifera papillaris, but it could very much benefit from your attention I think. Thanks, Invertzoo (talk) 15:25, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, you're quick! That's a great article - thank you so much. Isn't Wikipedia a wonderful thing? Stronach (talk) 20:35, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
