Palm Aire is not Palm Aire

[edit]

This is a big mess... I wrote information about Palm Aire Village (Where I happen to live), because that is the area to which this census designated area refers. They called it Palm Aire, but that's not how we know it. astiquetalk 01:47, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Added the following to WP:RfC:

Non-controversial. Article is about a Census-designated place that was unincorporated at the time of the 2000 Census, but has since been incorporated into Fort Lauderdale. It is an non-notable neighborhood of 500-odd homes known as Palm Aire Village West—how do I know? I live here. The real Palm Aire is actually an adjoining, sprawling community in Pompano Beach, Florida of golf courses, condominiums, apartment homes, nursing homes, with a high (but shrinking) retiree population and probably noteworthy enough for a small article of its own. I don't know if this article deserves deletion or moving, but it certainly should not remain as Palm Aire, Florida. astiquetalk 02:23, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hmm, I believe there should be a new link for Palm Aire Village West, separating it from the 'Palm Arie' link. However small, it is own town. So how about we keep the Palm Aire, Florida link and make a new Palm Aire Village West? Also it could be noted in each article that the other exists. Sounds a little confusing perhaps but I think it could work out.adax July 4, 2005 16:39 (UTC)
