Paladins are not defenders
[edit]While the 4th edition Player's Handbook claims that paladins are defenders, it is worth noticing that the paladin class is the single most damaging class in the game (if they pick d10 or d12 weapons). They do not only have the highest damage potential, but also the highest damage average per hit and the highest damage potential and average per miss. They have excellent protection, but little control over the battlefield and high damage potential.
I've been told that there is an errata on them, but have been unable to locate it as of yet (still looking). If the role described in this page is based on the Player's Handbook, it should been changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.225.128.35 (talk) 11:28, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
