Current Advertising

The part about current advertising talks about adverts with Johnny Vegas and the ITV Digital Monkey as haven been showed before the date, eg "The second Monkey advert was first seen before Coronation Street on 15th January 2007 at around 8.30pm."

Talking of current advertising, shouldn't someone add info on some of the latest ads (including the one for the fruit, herbal and green teas)? Visokor (talk) 18:37, 15 December 2014 (UTC)

Photographs

Image:PGTIPS 2006-04-16.jpg available - if you think it meets quality control, feel free to include it. My expertise in photographing comestibles is limited at best... Parsingphase 09:29, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

I suggest this stub is merged into PG Tips - much of teh info is already in the PG Tips article and it seems rather pointless having a separate article about a fictional monkey which offers little extra that couldn't be absorbed in the "home" article. Robertsteadman 06:23, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

The article said "Mr. Shifter" holds the world record for the advert shown most times on British Television. I took the liberty of deleting the "world", because how often something is shown on some selected channels obviously can't be a worldwide category. Now, if you can prove that it ran more often than any other advert on any other channel – that would be quite something else. --BjKa (talk) 21:24, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

sustainability

This section was edited to say that PG Tips' move got mixed reviews, without providing any support for that. hence, I have removed this. Itw as provided by an unregistered user. Criticism for the Rainforest Alliance can be found at that entry. Mtl1969 09:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Vincent1, you state 'The move has received mixed reviews: Rainforest Alliance certification, dubbed "Fairtrade lite" by various observers and news sources, is questioned in the industry[3] and was described in January 2005 by Oxford University professor Alex Nicholls as "an easy option for companies looking for a “flash in the pan at a cheap price”.[4]'

I can find no evidence that Unilever/PG tips'move received mixed reviews. please provide those. a 2 year old quote regarding the Rainforest Alliance cannot be seen to apply to a move that happend in May 2007. accordingly, i have removed your edits The criticism of Rainforest Alliance exist but is extensively covered at their page

please discuss here if you have specific evidence that this move was criticised. thanks Mtl1969 13:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Pgtips800large.jpg

Image:Pgtips800large.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Brand name

The section on Brand Name has two similar versions of the same story repeated in sequence. I suggest that the two somehow be reconciled?--Gak (talk) 05:59, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
