[edit]Brought over the intro paragraphs from the Spanish article to which there is an inter-wiki link, considering the inadequacy of the previous content. I'm not very knowledgeable in this field, however. — Laogeodritt [ Talk | Contribs ] 00:16, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Change the name
[edit]There are two orders, the Order of Charles III (Orden de Carlos III) and the Military Order of Saint Ferdinand (Orden de San Fernando).
Sources:
- Spanish orders The Order of Carlos III. (In Spanish, the Order’s name in English is available at the beginning.)
- (Spanish) Order of May 8 2000 by which the Regulation of the Royal and Very Distinguished Order of Carlos III is adapted to the current circumstances and conditions. — Buho09 [ Talk ] 12:16, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Change the center of the badge
[edit]The medallion at the center of the badge of the Order should have a copy of Murillo's painting of the Immaculate Conception, not that of Our Lady of Guadalupe, found in the badge of the Mexican order of Our Lady of Guadalupe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.239.152.174 (talk) 06:27, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Translation
[edit]Corrected the first paragraph in History and added and translated some more to the same section. The section is not yet complete (with regards to its Spanish counterpart) so it needs to be finished. The rest of the sections of the Spanish article need to be brought over and translated.
