Are NATO docs Public Domain like US DOD?
[edit]The majority of this article is nearly verbatim from NATO Regional HQ Allied Forces Southern Europe Fact Sheet on Operation SHARP GUARD. I don't know if NATO documents are public domain or not, so I'm removing it. If NATO documents are public domain, they would be great source for Wikipedia.
I've replaced the article wiht a brief summary from the apparent source document, linked above. Previously it also had links to the UN resolutions on the NATO site. I'm changing these to wikipedia internal links. Keeping the two external links and adding one. Removing the military stub - too broad to have this. Removing the US Military stub - but keeping the US Mil Hist stub. Removing the US Mil Bio stub since that's for people. --EarthPerson 05:09, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Move back from NATO blockade of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
[edit]I moved this article from NATO blockade of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia back to Operation Sharp Guard. I don't believe that "Propaganda names are inherently POV" is a sufficient reason to have moved this originally. I've left the other name to redirect back here and I believe more people would find this based on the operation name rather than the NATO blockade phrase. The operation name is a verifiable fact. Things may not always have the best name, but it is what it is. I don't think that NASA is POV since it could be named the United States Federal Agency for Aeronautics and Space Exploration.--EarthPerson 02:36, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Omission of HMCS MONTREAL
[edit]HMCS MONTREAL is not listed among Canadian Force Maritime Command "Ship's Participating" list. MTL participated in Sharp Guard from Jan - Jul 1995
