Orphaned references in Only Human (Cheryl Cole album)

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Only Human (Cheryl Cole album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ds":

  • From A Million Lights: "Cheryl Cole, Cally My Name composition". Digital Spy. Retrieved 12 June 2012.
  • From Crazy Stupid Love (song): "Cheryl: 'Crazy Stupid Love' single review - "Colourful and sugary" - Music Review". Digital Spy. 2014-07-16. Retrieved 2014-08-17.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:12, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rename Request

[edit]

Seeing as the article for Cheryl has just been renamed from "Cheryl Cole" to "Cheryl Fernandez-Versini", we should rename this article to Only Human (Cheryl Fernandez-Versini album) MLA2000 (talk) 22:23, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved to using the "Cheryl Fernandez-Versini" format, which everyone seemed to be OK with. Jenks24 (talk) 05:05, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

– Per covers. Or add a "(Cheryl Fernandez-Versini x)", per her main page. But not this as she divorced Cole 5 years ago. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 21:43, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, (Cheryl Fernandez-Versini album) would be correct. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:52, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose Cheryl is not about this singer -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 08:34, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Should either be Cheryl or, preferably, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini but we shouldn't use Cheryl Cole if that's not a name she uses or isn't the name of her article. Zarcadia (talk) 17:44, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - initially I was looking at this in the vacuum of this specific move request, and then realized there must have been a move request for the artist's article, which was virtually landslide support for the name change. So the fact that she is now, and wants to go by her new name is sufficient, no need to re-debate COMMONNAME. That moves us to "if" the mononym is sufficient disambiguation. I think the examples provided regarding Madonna and Blood are insufficient because the artist are mononyms and only further disambiguated because there is a better primarytopic for those article titles. However, I was unable to find any examples of first/last named artists who disambiguate their albums with just their first name. I would support this move if the artist's page was changed to the monomym, but I don't believe there is support for that. It would seem consistent to rename to Only Human (Cheryl Fernandez-Versini album) - while perhaps unnecessarily lengthy, it is the most appropriate. • Comment, as it is more likely this happens, I formally add the ALT 1:
