The second reference ("Pakistan Timeline") is a dead link. Does anyone have the correct one? Electron100 (talk) 17:49, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Needs Clarification

[edit]

This article seems to be based on a rough translation and isn't very coherent.

The ambiguities start in the 2nd sentence, and this passage is particularly odd:

  • "...Pakistani scholars and researchers maintain that the One Unit program was viewed as a counterbalance against the political and population domination of the ethnic Bengali population of East Pakistan. The One Unit program was met with great resistance and grievances from the Four Provinces since its establishment..."

Which prompts several questions, most importantly why the Four Province govt had "great resistance and grievances" vis-a-vis an act intended to bolster their political power against the rival region.

The problems continue from there. I'll try to improve if/when i get the time, unless someone else does so first (preferably someone who speaks one of the relevant languages, google translate doesn't handle any of them well yet). -- bornLoser (talk) 10:55, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
