[edit]This article is a bit confused.
The Omni-Path device inherits features from the previous InfiniPath device, which has a full implementation of the Inifiband verbs. So, no, the implementation of Infiniband verbs is not "under development": it's being optimized to work in more situations, but it already exists.
Also, the alternatives section is about something that competes "in part", but doesn't compete in the MPI world, which is the main use of Omni-Path.

RDMA ?
[edit]How is RDMA related to this? It's in the related work, but there is no mention of RDMA, same for InfiniBand. Is the technology equivalent to InfiniBand, or to Ethernet? The reader (I) will still not know what is Omni-Path after reading the article.
