Northern Stars (netball) → Northern Stars – The title "Northern Stars" currently redirects to TDC Northern Stars, a now-defunct English ice hockey team which eventually merged with another team to become the Billingham Stars. The netball team name is current, if new. Neither seems a standout per WP:COMMONNAME, but the redirect is requested for conciseness. – Liveste (talk • edits) 14:03, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose Northern Stars could mean a number of things, and neither of these teams is more than locally notable. The baseline redirect should redirect to the Northern Star disambiguation page. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:08, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support. The netball team is far more notable than any other use for the term, unless you're claiming that ice hockey is a nationally televised sport in Britain. The Drover's Wife (talk) 21:07, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
Oppose based on the fact that pageview stats suggest that Northern Star (Melanie C album) has the highest page views (apart from the dab page). Hence, I suggest we move the Melanie C album to be the primary topic instead. Pinging In ictu oculi and The Drover's Wife as previous AfD participants.Schwede66 08:41, 31 March 2017 (UTC)- People are unlikely to go looking for the Melanie C album at "Northern Stars" plural. - Support. I honestly didn't see that my pageview analysis looked at both singular and plural; sorry for that. Schwede66 08:25, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
