Added species

I added N. digluta to the species list. I learned in a genetics class that it was obtained by crossing N. glutinosa with N. tabacum. I'm unfamiliar with convention, so perhaps it should be listed as Nicotiana × digluta instead.

Probably, but some hybrids (N. tabacum itself springs to mind) are considered cultigens and are named as if they are species (this is particularly true if their ancestry was not known when they were named). So the multiplication sign is probably right, but it is still good to see what the literature calls it and not delve too far into trying to figure out the name yourself. Nicotiana digluta is an old synthetic hybrid that was developed in the process of transferring resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus from N. glutinosa to N. tabacum. The work was originally done at the University of California - Berkeley. See reference:

History

Would it not make this page more readable, and serve as a kind of unifying narrative, to describe the history of the cultivation of tobacco plants by humans?

Were they essentially discovered in America, in terms of their medicinal or recreational use?
