Fair use rationale for Image:New look logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:New look logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Update to information

[edit]

The information contained within the article is outdated, with much of the financial and location data from 2008 and before. Current information can be found in the company's annual report, available on their corporate website at newlookgroup.com. Most about current struggles though: https://businessmirror.com.ph/crucial-christmas-in-store-for-3-besieged-uk-retailers/ https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2017/12/moodys-sharply-downgrades-new-look-and-house-of-fraser-amid-falling-sales/ http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/new-look-q3-losses-profits-crashes-fashion-chain-2017-a8041451.html https://www.ft.com/content/5fd1b8fa-8f1b-11e7-9084-d0c17942ba93 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/08/08/new-look-admits-product-could-better-disappointing-sales/ https://www.standard.co.uk/business/new-look-s-owner-crashes-to-a-loss-of-421-million-a3691626.html http://www.cityam.com/266401/new-looks-bonds-slump-sales-disappoint https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/struggling-new-look-braced-for-debt-talks-5br6b6gzx Galobtter (pingó mió) 17:20, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested edits to overview

[edit]

Key people is outdated. Paul Gilbert needs to be removed and then it should include (as per the company House website: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/01618428/officers)

• Helen Connolly – Chief Executive Officer • Mike Coupe – Non-Executive Chairman • Richard Collyer – Chief Financial Officer – currently CFO but a minor stylist point

To make it clear, could we add Helen's appointment to CEO to the main body of the text?:

Helen Connolly was appointed the role of Chief Executive Officer in June 2022 after joining New Look as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2020.

The store number is also incorrect. Could this be updated to 385 stores as per the 2024 Annual Report https://www.newlookgroup.com/~/media/Files/N/New-Look-Retailers/reports-and-presentations/new-look-group-annual-reports-and-accounts-2024.pdf

Within the history section, it is missing the key refinancing that happened in September 2023. (cited here:https://blazehill.com/case_studies/new-look-secures-refinancing-package-from-blazehill-and-wells-fargo/)

Could we add:

In September 2023, New Look completed the refinancing of a £100m term loan and operating facilities with Blazehill Capital and Wells Fargo.

I am unable to update this as they are currently my client at my agency - so declaring a conflict of interest here.
