Creating talk page for discussion. Article has been flagged as being too promotional but I'm unsure what is promotional, so will see what needs to be cut out to pass review. I've contacted the nominating editor for information.Timtempleton (talk) 15:10, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- I deleted a few items and resubmitted. Timtempleton (talk) 15:43, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Suggest WP:ADMASQ. Replicates the usual style of WP:PAID, particularly re. list of services, hence why it's high on editors' lists. Cheers, — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 15:47, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the direct. I certainly don't want the article to be too promotional, and indeed I spend a lot of time taking spam and promotional info out of other articles. I did notice that Wikipedia is weak on data center and subsea cable info, and since millions of users are impacted with these facilities, this addresses that. How would you recommend I include this facility info without saying what it actually does? Tough line to straddle. I did take a few things out from my original article, but everything that was and is there comes from 3rd party media coverage - there are no weasel words and this isn't a personal essay.
