As it currently stands, the introduction of this article, as well as the body, contain no actual description of what the NSTA is. I came to this article wondering if it was affiliated governmentally, and still have no clue. Could someone switch the head section of this entry to display a definiton of the organization, instead of a rehash of its mission statement? It's really not that useful in its current form.
Criticism
[edit]Currently the section titled "Criticism" does not make clear what the criticism is and who is doing it. It simply reports on the NSTA's choice to decline the DVDs and gives their reason for it. The section should be retitled or edited to actually include criticism. -Lone Deranger 13:18, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
For purposes of transparency in lobbying, somebody should note that the N.S.T.A. receives millions of dollars from Exxon-Mobil and Conoco-Phillips -- particularly with the ten-year anniversary of "An Inconvenient Truth" arriving this May 24th. Prof.Bastedo (talk) 14:37, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
