[edit]Bkonrad, where can you see NHRA on the website title bar? I see nothing at the top, NHA at the bottom of each page and on every sub-page and document that I've seen so far, including the constitution. Your first citation uses both initialisms in the text, and I suspect that's just an error. The second one actually refers to the Namibia Horse Racing Association (NHRA). - In Edge and Chrome NHRA displays at the title of the browser window (or of the tab if using multiple tabs). I was mistaken in saying it displays on every page of the site. It is only on the home page (I would've sworn I had browsed to other pages in the site and saw NHRA, but cannot duplicate now). Also if you examine the HTML for the site's home page, it is encoded as
<title>NHRA</title>
. Perhaps that is just artifact of lazy site developers, but *most* competent web developers would know to put something meaningful there. older ≠ wiser 12:18, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. How odd. I'm looking at Firefox on my tablet. I'll check it out on my computer tomorrow. (Currently slightly distracted by election results.) Laterthanyouthink (talk) 12:45, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- Regarding the references, good catch on the Namibia one. I've added different source from The Times of London. The Sporting Post uses NHRA a lot to refer to the group. When quoting individuals or sources, they keep will keep as NHA, but more often than not, in text written by their writers it is NHRA. older ≠ wiser 15:02, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- And by the bye, there are more such instances of newspapers using NHRA: Daily Maverick, The Herald, Trainer Magazine, The Times (SA). older ≠ wiser 15:23, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I still cannot see any mention of NHRA on their website, even on Edge, so perhaps your settings are different. I've tidied the article a bit and updated the CEO and chair. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:40, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
