[edit]Is "William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021" the best name for this article? Does not seem concise. I think "National Defense Authorization Act 2021" would be a better title. Conciseness is one of the WP:CRITERIA. Thoughts? –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:54, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- The act was named after Rep. Mac Thornberry. It would conform with other NDAAs that were named after people, i.e. John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019, Carl Levin and Howard P. "Buck" McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015, Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011, and John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. - The article needs to explain that this was named after him. UpdateNerd (talk) 07:10, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
