Added that the cannula does not have to deliver supplemental oxygen. This is based on our experience the last several days in a pediatric hospital with our infant, who had bronchiolitis and was retracting. She was given a cannula that supplied humidified airflow, so that she didn't have to work as hard. Later, extra oxygen was added to the cannula mix for a few hours, but most of the time no oxygen was added. Huttarl (talk) 15:43, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
