Merge with Thomsen Disease

[edit]

A suggestion to merge with the Thomsen disease article was made on 19 April 2009. No rationale was given for the suggested merge, nor did any further discussion take place. Furthermore, the merge is inappropriate as Thomsen disease is one form of myotonia congenita among many forms. If anything, the Thomsen disease article should be merged here. Because of the lack of rationale and discussion, and the inappropriateness of the merge, I've removed the template. --69.112.198.201 (talk) 07:32, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ponies?

[edit]

Why, in the See also section, is there a link to New Forest Pony? 109.152.150.192 (talk) 15:18, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Epidemiology

[edit]

I wonder whether the difference in rates between Scandinavia and the world is actually a difference in the persistence of medical examinations. I'm not able to access the given references. I am an American with Thompson Disease. It took significant nagging on the part of my wife to get me to obtain a diagnosis. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:647:5803:5530:342F:2316:3E8:86A3 (talk) 17:55, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The warm-up phenomenon section is OR

[edit]

This section contains the disclaimer "(this is from first hand experience)", admitting that the material is purely original research. It's most likely a good idea for a medical editor to take on the task of turning this specific personal report into a description based on medical references. The expression "warm-up phenomenon" might have originated with the user who described it here; I'm not sure.--Quisqualis (talk) 14:57, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
