Musée de la Vie Romantique → Musée de la Vie romantique – Correct French typography. Please see article in French : fr:Musée de la Vie romantique. Gkml (talk) 05:17, 3 November 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. Flooded with them hundreds 18:27, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
- Wikipedia being an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, you should not trust it, but rather the official web site. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 10:22, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support, but should be small v as well: la Nouvelle République 26 Oct 2018 "En partenariat avec le Musée de la vie romantique. Dans le cadre des visites commentées, découvrez au travers d'objets et de photographies ..." but okay, http://www.leparisien.fr/paris-75009/paris-le-musee-de-la-vie-romantique-ferme-pour-travaux-13-11-2017-7389867.php small r will do. - Support move to "Musée de la vie romantique". In French, a capital is used only on the first letter of proper nouns.
提尔巴 (talk) 17:07, 3 November 2018 (UTC).- AS a Frenchman (please see my user-page) and one of the specialists of typography on French Wikipedia (please see [1]), I disagree because this last remark is very often wrong : French typography is much more complex, please read fr:WP:TYPO and specifically that section (fr:WP:TYPO#MAJUSCULES-MUSÉES), you notably will see similar examples : « le musée des Arts et Traditions populaires, le musée national d’Art moderne, le musée de l’Homme ». If you need a link with the works of a serious man whose job was that of typography, I am available for that : the other serious references used in fr:WP:TYPO#MAJUSCULES-MUSÉES are that of books, not available on line. By the way, many newspapers, except Le Monde are not very good with perfect typography. --Gkml (talk) 05:44, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
P.-S. : as a record, in a French sentence, you would write « le musée de la Vie romantique ». Regards. --Gkml (talk) 09:29, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
