Proposed deletion
[edit]- Strong oppose. The user Rusf10 proposed the deletion of this article with the following rationale: "Sounds exactly the same as municipal police everywhere else in the world, not a notable topic". Well, then we should also delete the articles Municipal Police (France) or Municipal police (Italy). It is a notable topic, and of course they sound like other municipal police forces, because they have more or less the same duties. This article is a stub and it needs expansion, but deleting it won't encourage people to work on it. I suggest replacing the suggested deletion with a template requesting the expansion of the article, such as "{{Missing information}}". Mentatus (talk) 06:04, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Mentatus:The existence of those two other articles is irrelevant. But since, you brought it up, those two articles are full of WP:OR and probably should be deleted as well. So since you objected, I will take the article to AfD.--Rusf10 (talk) 16:22, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]This institution is called "Local Police", not "Municipal Police". It should be renamed to its proper name, but I won't start a request until the AfD is over. Maybe a RM won't be needed if more users agree with this. Super Ψ Dro 10:15, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
