[edit]

What sort of chili peppers are typically used to make this dish? For that matter, what cultivars of chili peppers are most commonly grown in Syria? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.41.40.21 (talk) 12:17, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ajika - Muhammara merge discussed?

[edit]

Has there been any discussion before Ajika was merged with this article? Sorry I didn't find any. From the Ajika revision history I infer the following:

  • 22:46, 30 November 2013‎ - merge template is placed on the Ajika page by user 68.100.162.64.
  • 00:47, 1 December 2013 (just in 2 hours!) - Ajika is merged into Muhammara by the same account.

Is there any source for the claim that Ajika and Muhammara are the same thing apart from a similarly sounding Turkish Adcuka? Are there bread crumbs and olive oil in Adjika? People discussing Ajika on its talk page didn't mention Muhammara at all. --Off-shell (talk) 17:46, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. Just reverted it to the original version as it was back then before copying the entire text of Ajika to this article. Ajika is not a disputed name for it and has nothing to do with this article. Jaqeli (talk) 10:44, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
