Mount Juliet High School Colors
[edit]The school colors are just black and gold, not white.

- The high school mentioned here is Mount Juliet High School, considering there are multiple high schools in Wilson County Schools.[1] CanineCrew | Have a Great Day!! (talk) 23:42, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
- The content on the schools belongs in the articles on the schools, not here. See WP:NOTEVERYTHING. John from Idegon (talk) 02:54, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

Mount or Mt.
[edit]Recently redirects from Mt. to Mount were made to this article and the city's high school article. I realize there is probably some Wikipedia protocol about abbreviation use. However local use should have precedence on the article's title. In Mt. Juliet the shorten form of "Mt." is used the vast majority of the time in written form. My preference within the article is using Mt., however I'd be willing to go with the consensus states. However I believe this is the same thing along the lines of Sault Ste. Marie where "Ste." is always used (within the article) compared to "Sainte." --Ichabod (talk) 18:52, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
This issue appears to have been addressed. I'm a Mt. Juliet resident myself, so I can attest to the common usage of the name "Mt. Juliet". However, I referred to the city's charter a short while ago to verify that its official name is indeed "Mount Juliet". Oddly, all other documents issued by the city that I've seen identify it as "Mt. Juliet". -JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 07:11, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
- I know that this comment is outdated. However, the USPS uses "Mt."-- mrwoogi010 Talk 16:55, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Building Consensus to Remove "Issues" Box
[edit]I have made several edits with the intention of cleaning the page and eliminating the issues box.
All links to councilmen's campaign and Facebook pages have been removed, and I've made attempts to make it conform more to WP:USCITIES.
I would like to hear what further issues may need to be fixed in order to remove the box. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lrd31e (talk • contribs) 01:47, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
