Move?

The result of the move request was not moved. No evidence as to what the most common English spelling actually is. Aervanath (talk) 07:30, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Moushumi Chatterji→Moushumi Chatterjee — to proper name.- Jayanta Nath (Talk|Contrb) 12:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Her proper name is মৌসুমি চ্যাটার্জী , and it may well be that its Roman-alphabet transcriptions vary. The info box says that she was born Moushmi Chattopadhyaya. -opadhyaya (a sandhied version of -a-upadhyaya) is (I think) the Sanskrit original of Hindi/etc -ji. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:30, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- In bengali we call মৌসুমি চ্যাটার্জী (Moushumi Chatterjee) Or মৌসুমি চট্টোপাধ্যায় (Moushumi Chattapadhyaya). Chatterji is also common spell but we generally use often. Most of the time spell Chatterjee. My sujesstion is that articale name should be Moushumi Chatterjee and Moushumi Chatterji redirect to it.- Jayanta Nath (Talk|Contrb) 06:56, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- মৌসুমি চট্টোপাধ্যায় by standard linguists' transcription is Mausumi Caţţōpādhyāya. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:13, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Birth year confusions
[edit]@Cyphoidbomb: Hi, the year of birth was written as 1948 in the Amar Ujala source that I used in the article, changing an existing non-RS source, but the third page of the same source mentions that she was "16 years" old in her debut film Balika Badhu (1967 film). A person born in 1948 can't be 16 years old in a 1967 film. So the Amar Ujala source is likely a WP:CIRCULAR, but the new unsourced changes by WP:COI User:Sudip6272 here can't be true either, since they insist on putting 1957 as the subject's birth year. Not only unsourced, but it doesn't add up to the 16 years age at the time of Balika Badhu either. Not only that, India TV, Republic mentions her age to be 15 years in the 1967 film. I believe the DoB year is contentious enough to be removed. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:43, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- Seems reasonable. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:28, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: Thanks for your inputs. I've removed it. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:56, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
