Requested move 23 May 2018
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: consensus to carry out this move per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC has been reached. WP:RM is not the appropriate venue to decide on the potential deletions of the disambiguation page, therefore: The disambiguation page is moved to Miriam O'Callaghan (disambiguation) and Miriam O'Callaghan (media personality) is moved to Miriam O'Callaghan (closed by non-admin page mover) Kostas20142 (talk) 16:31, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
Miriam O'Callaghan (media personality) → Miriam O'Callaghan – Wikipedia:PRIMARYTOPIC. Miriam O'Callaghan (camogie) spent three years as head of a administration of a not very popular Irish sport. Miriam O'Callaghan "media personality" has been a mainstay of Irish broadcasting for over 20 years. jnestorius(talk) 12:14, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. No need for the disambiguation page. The camogie player can be mentioned in a hatnote atop the media personality's article. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 02:51, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Birthdate
[edit]The subject of the article has explicitly denied her date of birth in Wikipedia. The source cited to verify her birth date (herald.ie) actually quotes her contradicting it: "The encyclopaedia website Wikipedia claims Miriam was born on January 6, 1960. But the ... Prime Time presenter ... told the Herald that although it's not true, she isn't the slightest bit bothered about what age people think she is." Spideog (talk) 04:09, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
