Third parties

[edit]

Should a third party hold seats in a legislature, would they be entitled to a minority leader? CrazyC83 21:50, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minority Leader is the title given to the leader of the second largest party, essentially Leader of the Opposition. If any other parties managed to get seats, they'd have their own party leader (e.g. Green Party Leader, Libertarian Party Leader). Only if they managed to get the second largest amount of seats would they get the official Minority Leader position. Political Lefty 20:46, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
