Merger
[edit]This is a fairly thin article.
It is suggested that it be merged with the article on the SCA to provide one coherent article on the Egyptian control of Egyptology: from Dept. of Antiquities (1859), through SCA, to Ministry.

Lingering references to "Ministry of Antiquities"
[edit]I have changed the infobox title from "Ministry of Antiquities" to "Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities", which I undertand correctly reflects its new name. There are also other Wikipedia articles that continue to refer to the old agency name of "Ministry of Antiquities".
I assume that correcting these to "Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities", if referring to the agency after 2019, is correct? Neutral Editor 645 (talk) 11:37, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
