A little misleading

When the subject of a Wiki article is referred to in the past tense in the article's opening sentence (e.g. "Mindy Carson WAS a . . ."), the reader will usually begin by assuming the subject is no longer living. I know it's been over a dozen years since your comment, but my reaction is to say that she WAS because "by 1960, her recording career was over". She's been out of public view for over half a century, if she's even still alive. Craig418 (talk) 21:24, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
