DSOs
[edit]I've managed to track down the original London Gazette's containging the DSOs mentioned in teh article. However it's clear fro teh award dates, and confirmed by documents available in The National Archives (online here, unfortunatley the full recommendations are only viewable on payment of a fee) that Stone's first DSO was awarded for actions in Operation Olive during the attack on Rimini in 1944, not for the Battle of Ortona in 1943 for which he was awarded "only" the Military Cross. apparent copyright vio in related article
[edit]Nice to get the DYK nod, for "...that during the Korean War the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (pictured) received a Presidential Unit Citation from Dwight D. Eisenhower for their heroism in the Battle of Kapyong?" linked to this article "Military history of Australia during the Korean War". The main article on Battle of Kapyong linked from this article, however, appears to me to be copyright violation with passages copied from copyrighted webpage. doncram (talk) 09:56, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I meant the main article on Battle of Pakchon that is linked from this article, appears to be copyvio, and I tagged it as such. doncram (talk) 19:11, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
